About WayfinderWoman

WayfinderWoman is a charity that supports women through life’s challenging moments through providing facilitated group peer support sessions and 1-to-1 Peer support.

We have been supporting women across Eastbourne for over 10 years and have seen that across all age groups women often are looking to improve their confidence, connect with the community, and discover their way forward through adversity which may be affecting their mental and physical health.

We foster connection through our regular Peer Support group and offer tailored support with gaining confidence and planning next steps through our 1-to-1 Peer support appointments.

Our vision

A town where every woman’s voice is heard, valued, and helps shape the services and decisions that affect her life.

What we do

1:1 & Group Peer Support

WayfinderWoman Peer Support offers a supportive, welcoming space for women facing social, emotional, or practical challenges that can impact everyday life and wellbeing.

Through one-to-one sessions and peer support groups, women are listened to without judgement, accepted as they are, and supported at their own pace. We work alongside women to navigate life’s challenges in ways that feel right for them.

Volunteering

Women volunteer with us for many reasons — to give back, build skills, gain confidence, connect with others, or explore what’s next.

Whatever brings you here, you’ll be joining a lived-experience-led community that values empathy, growth, and mutual care. Volunteering with WayfinderWoman is not just about what you give, but what you gain — including connection, learning, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

Community Voices

Community Voices creates space for women to speak openly about what life is really like in our community, including the challenges they face and the support they feel is missing.

It is rooted in listening, trust, and lived experience — especially for women whose voices are not always heard.

By adding depth and meaning to data, it helps ensure support reflects real lives, not assumptions.
