Hidden Voices Listening Groups
Every woman has a story, an experience, and a perspective that matters.
As part of our Hidden Voices project, we’re creating opportunities for women across Eastbourne to share their experiences, ideas and perspectives about accessing support and what matters to them.
Our first Hidden Voices Listening Group took place in July 2026, bringing local women together for an informal conversation about their experiences and the barriers they can face when seeking support.
Through these listening sessions, we want to better understand:
- What barriers women face when seeking support
- What helps women feel heard, understood and included
- What support women feel is needed in their communities
- What we can do differently to make our services more accessible and responsive
The experiences and ideas shared through these sessions will help us shape the future of WayfinderWoman and ensure that the voices of women remain at the heart of what we do.
We’ll be holding more Hidden Voices Listening Groups in the future, giving more women the opportunity to share their experiences and help shape our work.
